Description
In today’s less structured workplace, our daily dilemma is that dealing with the uncertainty and less clear-cut environment coupled with different multi-generational work styles. With remote work, juggling family commitments & critical work deadlines, competing and/or changing priorities and an avalanche of information to digest, individuals often feel overwhelmed if not stressed. Being able to manage pressure effectively is basic to managing individual and organisational performance. The workplace can be strong contributor to mental wellbeing, giving people the opportunity to feel productive and achieve their potential.
The cost of mental wellness
Survey of mental disorders in SA showed lost earnings among adults with severe mental illness during previous 12 months amounted to R28.8 billion
